Due to teacher furloughs, all back-to-school events scheduled for Aug. 3 and 4 have been rescheduled. Below is the revised list of events provided by the Clarke County School District.

• Barrow Elementary

"A Taste of Barrow," 5:30-7 p.m.

"A Taste of Barrow" is an annual covered dish supper that welcomes families to the new school year. Students can find out what class they are assigned to, meet their teachers, tour the school, and visit with classmates.

• Burney-Harris-Lyons Middle

Open House for All Students, 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

Freshman Orientation, 9-11 a.m., gymnasium
